Checking out a new brand today, QOB, they’re calling this Blue Topaz, but it’s really In House Genetic’s Slurricane
Purple Punch x Do-Si-Dos
Strain name, was on sale
Visuals are mostly good. Buds appear well grown, and show ingesting colouring. Surface detail has good and bad; good coverage and some shaved surfaces. Trim is pretty good, some leaf is left.
Great feel. The buds are large and spongey.
Scents are antiqued pine with a bland cleaner note; almost like an antique wood floor that’s recently been cleaned. Secondary notes of hoppy herb and fruit polarize the rest of the profile, creating an ingesting composition.
The landscape of the flavours is flat, spanning wide, comprised of many notes, but none too noticeable; it’s like London is in the ‘80s. Much of the profile has a sulphurous, burnt tinge, that doesn’t occlude the rest of the notes, but is present throughout.
Price per gram was $8.56, and package price on the eighth was $29.99. Below average for the package size average, looks pretty attractive from a consumer perspective.
The olfaction is poorly enjoyed. Hard to enjoy unless you’re willing to really read into it.
Smaller packaging. The bud looks good, show it and it might impress your friends. Feel was good too, which you don’t see from every package.
The taste was lacking.
Quality looking eighth for under $30.00
I wouldn’t repeat buy based on the experience I had here, if most people are having a similar experience to mine, could channel away repeat purchases.
