Looking at an unbranded Pine Tar Kush today.
Although the lineage is unknown, this is listed as a descendant of Kush. Leafly is a bit more specific, calling this a pure indica sourced from Pakistan.
Size is smaller to medium, morphology is looser across the surface. Buds come to a sharp peak at the tip. Trim is not perfect but still ok. Stem seems more prominent across the set of buds.
A bit drier, but still willing to impress.
Rancid earth with sweet gas and pine. Character is rough and greasy.
Tastes are earths, warmly spiced, with skunks pine and fuel. Character maintains its rough grease, but with some spicy pine along with it.
Price was $6.80 per gram. Favourable to the consumer in smaller and larger packages, both are below average. Also important to note, this particular offering is available in larger package sizes, for cheaper than it is here, from a brand in the legal market.
Quality wasn’t overly impressive, leaves you wanting more from it.
Strain name (I’m guessing). Price.
Competition surrounding the price point. Vendor type issues.
