Hi!
Thanks for joining me today! For another review of Nordle! This time, it’s called Balance! by B!ngo!
This is the second time I’ve reviewed Aphria’s Nordle. Check back to the previous review, when it was called Solei Balance and was priced at $9 per gram; double what I paid here!
I actually bought this half ounce to press it with a rosin press, and I kept about 4 grams aside to do this review.
BUYER MOTIVATION
Wanted cheap CBD dominant flower
VISUALS
Visuals are pretty good in some areas. There’s some larger sized buds, some smaller. Trim is really close, shaving away the surface detail of the bud. Trim dictates shape here too, these look like rounded orbs. No luxurious colouring or coverage to write about.
FEEL
Feel is bone dry. Fragile!
SMELL
Smells are very slight. Earthy earths, in very low magnitude.
TASTE
Tastes are earthy, with a stale edge of new fruit. The tastes are overshadowed by an oxidized tone, especially on the exhale. Borders on unpalatable.
VALUE
I paid $65 for the half, or $4.64 per gram. The week after this same bag had been reduced to $59. Price favours the consumer here, and this price point is below the historical average for this package size from any market.
IMPRESSION
Looks were the best thing going for it, everything else falls way short. The flower was utility grade; bottom of the barrel for quality. Within the jar I placed it in, the oxidized tasted increased significantly.
CONSUMER BENEFITS
Cheap price for a half ounce.
CONSUMER PAINS
Expensive price for the quality you get
ATTRACTIONS
The price!
COMPROMISES
Few frills or secondary information given. Big producer, may be old package. Same flower sold through multiple brands.
