1964 Comatose
Hey pancakenap here. Thanks for joining me for today's review of 1964's Comatose.
Comatose Kush Lineage
Supposedly this is a OG Kush with an unknown indica. Would be neat to genotype this to see how it relates to those with very similar flavour profiles, like OG Kush and Bubba Kush.
Visuals
Buds exhibit a small, tight, hybrid-like shape with typical green and orange coloring. Trichome coverage is consistently distributed across the surface.
Feel
The buds have a firm texture but grind down to a fluffy consistency.
Scent
The aroma is a mix of charred chocolate, gassy earth, with a slight sweetness on the edges. It strongly resembles the character of a Bubba Kush, to the point where if given to me blindly, I would guess it as such. If told it was something else, I wouldn't believe it.
Taste
The taste mirrors that of Bubba Kush, with gassy earth surrounded by subtle notes of thin vanilla sweets. The exhale maintains the essence of gassy earth.
Summary
I'd call this representative of a commonly available cultivar in the legacy market, Pre-98 Bubba, of which we have little representation of in the legal market.
